Rick Leckner

Rick Leckner has four decades of experience in corporate communications, broadcasting, municipal government and public security. He established Maison Brison Communications in 1983, and with a staff of 10 continues to provide strategic investor relations, crisis management and media relations services to several large Canadian companies. He is widely known for his many years of providing helicopter traffic reports for CJAD/Mix 96. He served as a city councillor in Dollard des Ormeaux from 1978-94, was Vice-President of the Montreal Urban Community (MUC) Emergency Measures Bureau, and has sat on a number of Quebec Government committees, including the Conseil du Service Essentiel and the comité d’examen des plaintes of the Sureté du Québec. He is currently a member of Transport Quebec’s comité technique sur la mobilité des biens et des personnes. Rick has also advised Montreal’s Police and Fire Chiefs in matters related to media and community relations. He is a volunteer fire fighter in the municipality of Wentworth Nord and is a member of the Board of the Old Brewery Mission Foundation.
